Learning about our Hang Gliding Spot
Rio is one of the best, safest and the most popular place for Hang Gliding in the world and Just Fly Rio is your best choice for this unforgettable experience.
Our site is located at São Conrado neighborhood. The ramp is at a height of 520 meters (1700 feet) inside the Tijuca Forest. It is the only ramp for hang gliding in Rio and one of the most beautiful places for flying in the world, as you will fly over the forest, city, beach, ocean and more, all in one place.
Flight Procedures
We meet at our landing location at São Conrado Beach. There we will head to the Hang Gliding Association to do the registration before the flight.
So, we drive up to Pedra Bonita Ramp that's a beautiful ride taht takes aroubd 12 minutes to ge to to the top of the mountain.
At the ramp, while the hang glider is assembled, we dress our harnesses, practice the take-off running, have somew instrucyions and in few minutes we'll be ready to take off.
And so..... You'll be flying like a bird.
Our Team
Just Fly Rio is owned and operated by Paulo Celani an instructor with over 36 years of hang gliding experience.
All instructors working with us have over 20 years of hang gliding and paragliding experience and all are certified and accredited by the Brazilian Hang Gliding/Paragliding Association/Federation and Rio Hang Gliding/Paragliding Association.
